Today marks the 1 month countdown to our trip ’round the world. To say we’re excited would be a gross understatement. Thanks to thorough preparation, we’re nearing the final stages. In the past few months, we already have:
- All our immunizations and prescriptions
- New passports and extra photos
- Filed taxes and gotten our returns
- Booked our EU airline tickets
- Given our 30 day notice to the landlord
- All of our gear
- Visas for India
Right now, our days are spent working (TD), researching (me) and seeing friends and family. These next few weeks will probably pass by in a blur, as we need to complete the following tasks.
- Cancel our utilities, Netflix, internet, cell phone service
- Have a garage sale
- Forward our mail
- Notify banks/credit cards that we’re leaving and update our address
- Get our security deposit back
Whew…lots of shit going on and people coming to visit but I’m sure we can handle it. I see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Not to mention dealing with continuous farewell festivities!
